Data and analytics consultancy in Marburg

Marburg sits in Hesse, with an economy built on pharmaceuticals and biotech, higher education and research, and healthcare provision. We deliver Power BI, Microsoft Fabric and Azure work here remote-first, with on-site workshops at the points where being in the room changes the outcome, and we publish three local analyses rather than claiming an office we do not occupy.

Marburg analyses

Three local analyses

Each one takes the local sector mix seriously: the metrics that break here, the architecture those industries need, and the regulatory obligations that apply.
Local economy

The local economy

Marburg's biologics and vaccine manufacturing brings GxP data integrity requirements to the centre of any analytics project, where attributability and contemporaneity are not negotiable. Batch release and deviation reporting are usually the first build.

The University of Marburg has a long pharmaceutical research tradition that feeds local manufacturers.

Economic anchors

  • vaccine and biologics manufacturing
  • a research university with strong pharmacy and medicine
  • a university hospital

Where the clients sit

  • the Altstadt
  • the Behringwerke industrial site
  • the Lahnberge campus
  • Cappel

How buying works here

Six to sixteen weeks in the private sector.

Specification-driven and documented. The technical team and the Einkauf negotiate separately, references carry real weight, and a written proposal with itemised positions is expected rather than a slide deck.

Supplier and contracting information

Who has to say yes

  1. Fachbereich, the business area that owns the requirement
  2. IT, for architecture and operability
  3. Datenschutzbeauftragter, for the AVV and the processing position
  4. Betriebsrat, wherever employee performance could be derived from the reporting
  5. Einkauf, for commercial terms
  6. Geschäftsführung, above the delegated authority threshold

Have ready

  • Handelsregisterauszug, a current commercial register extract
  • Unbedenklichkeitsbescheinigung for tax and social security contributions
  • Betriebshaftpflicht and professional indemnity insurance certificates
  • Auftragsverarbeitungsvertrag (AVV), the Article 28 processing agreement, in German
  • Referenzen: named comparable projects, frequently with a contactable referee

Contract language: German for the contract, the AVV and the acceptance documentation, even where the delivery team works in English.
